Our Story
FarmGirl Frosting was born for fashionistas like you. 16 years and counting...
This life-long dream of mine began in 2010 as a traveling boutique. I remember the days I turned my house into a storefront. On weekends, I would load up my truck and trailer for craft shows, community celebrations, and even set up shop in vacant parking lots for people to shop with me.
In 2016, I settled my store on the cornerstone of the town square in Claude, TX. I opened my doors with just me, my merchandise, and a vision for how this dream could flourish.
Soon after opening, I was inspired by the Texas Panhandle and its people. I created the original 806 design to represent what is truly the heart of Texas. The 806 area code stretches over 43,000 square miles, and it is home to the best people in Texas, possibly on the planet (in my opinion). What better place to follow my dreams?
Since 2016, this small dream of mine grew into a brick-and-mortar storefront that expanded into a larger space for customers to enjoy. We improved the shopping experience with this fabulous, user-friendly website as well as a new mobile app. What began with just me and my merchandise made way for a dream of serving women. And where we consider our customers our family.
In 2022 my husband, Scott started working with me full time. He is the chauffer, Mr. Fix-Everything, Check out dude, steam and quality control guy, booth builder, and all around life-saver! Scott joining the FGF team has been a wild, fabulous ride and I am so glad that he got on board. You will see him on the road at the check out, and if you stop by the store you can bet that he is in the back processing/steaming all of our merchandise. Who knew this burly mustached guy would love joining the fashion world?! He truly is the back bone of this business! We love traveling together and taking this biz on the road to meet the most fabulous people. In our spare time we LOVE to cruise.
We are mostly family owned and operated. We’re just your every day, very normal, very real people. We take pride in dressing women in all walks of life. The trendy teacher looking for funky jewelry, the rodeo queen looking for a western outfit, the working mom looking for work wear tops, the mom who needs the perfect cruise outfit – we have it all!
And behind the scenes (and in front of the camera), you’ll see the women who help bring FarmGirl Frosting to life.
Bailee
Bailee is our daughter-in-law and a big part of the FGF crew. She’s a die-hard dog mom to Goose and Agent(you'll see them in our socials too), and you’ll usually find her bringing a fun, effortless vibe to everything she puts on. She helps us show how pieces look in real life—easy, wearable, and cute without trying too hard.
Samantha
Samantha is a mom of four and a photographer extraordinaire who somehow does it all. She’s part of our extended FGF family and brings a confident, real-life perspective to everything she models. She helps us showcase pieces in a way that feels authentic, relatable, and lived-in.
